Unwanted blog
Is anyone having a problem with unwanted blogs that they follow? I looked at my dashboard and there's a blog called Gadget Question by a Catherine Anderson. I haven't signed up to follow it and it's on my list of blogs that I follow. I can't unfollow it because I haven't signed up to follow it. It just appeared and I can't get rid of it. It's really upsetting me because it's taking up space from the blogs I do follow and I have to wade through all of these stupid Google gadget posts.

This happened to a couple of mini blogs I follow. What I did was click the link to go to that blog and read the blog address. It's probably to a blog you used to follow but has not been updating for some time. Then- go to your dashboard and go to manage blogs you follow and you have to go through your list to find that original blog....for instance- one of the blogs this happened to I think was named minimadwoman. In the blogs address it was still minimadwoman dot blogspot dot come even though the title and content had been changed to something else. So then I had to search my blogs I follow list for that blog and stop following that particular blog. I really don't know why this person is taking over these unused blogs like this- but someone on facebook said maybe it's because they get $ each time someone clicks a link and I guess that would make sense. Good luck Wendy- let me know if I confused you too much :)
Wendy, A bunch of us went through the same thing a couple of weeks ago. Someone is highjacking old, unused blogs and making a nusance of themselves. It is difficult to get rid of them unless you know who's old blog they are using. One was Kat the Hat Lady's former blog. Another that I was getting was Yummy Mini Foods. They were both blogs that I had, at one time followed. Look at your blog list and see if you can find one that was inactive and is now posting. Or look for one that you don't recognize.
I know how you feel. It is very irritating.Good luck finding it.
Thanks guys, I will start looking.
I think I got it. It looks like it's gone. Thanks again.
